Figma is a great tool for collaborating and interfacing with designers. It is an excellent tool for developing design systems, wireframing, and interface design, all the way to hand off to developers.

The ability to inspect designs, retrieve CSS and export assets easily is fantastic, not needing to rely on static exports, pdfs or even images, which I've had handed to me in the past.
